PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT

Join Metropolitan Ballet in performing DON QUIXOTE on April 26-27, 2025, at the historic Fitzgerald Theater St. Paul. Performance times will be at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 26, and 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 27.

Dancers (age 12+) enrolled in the Performance Division at Metropolitan Ballet are invited to participate and must be currently taking class 3 or more times per week. Experienced youth ballet dancers (ages 9-11) may be invited by the Director to participate. Casting will be set by the Artistic Director based on skill level and dancer’s rehearsal availability. commitments AND FEES

REHEARSALS: Dancers (ages 12+) must attend rehearsals on all Saturdays (10:30-6:00 pm), Sundays (12:00-6:00 pm), and Thursdays (during class 5:30-7:30 pm) beginning Saturday, March 1 at the studio. Youth dancers (ages 9-11) will rehearse on the weekend for a shorter block of time (TBD based on schedules). Note: There will be no rehearsal on Easter Sunday.

THEATER WEEK: Mandatory full cast studio rehearsals will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, April 23 and 24, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Full Cast rehearsal at the theater in St Paul will be held on Friday, April 25 from 4:30-9:30 pm. Call time for the performance on Saturday is 4:30 pm(for the 7:30 show) and 11:30 am for the 2:00 show. Youth dancers’ call time 6:30 pm (Saturday) and 1:00 pm (Sunday).

A cast party for all dancers and families will be held the evening of April 27.

PARTICIPATION FEES: Participation fees must be paid by March 1. You may pay online using the link below or pay in the studio with cash or check. There are no service fees added to electronic payments. Participation fees include, rehearsals and artistic coaching, costume usage, and theater/ production costs.

    **IMPORTANT ** Participation in the production requires a commitment from all dancers. Dancers may only miss up to two rehearsals. Requests to be excused from a rehearsal for any reason must be made on the registration form below. Dancers who miss more than two rehearsals may be offered a different role in the production. If you know you will miss more than two rehearsals but would still like to participate, please indicate this on the form below.
